A charming film released in 1985 (Backed by Francis Ford Coppola's longtime producer), the title refers to sex; the story is about friends in high school discovering its emotional complexities.
Noelle provides the comedy relief in a scene towards the end.

Main character Jennifer Connelly walks by as we hear Noelle exlaining to her docile boyfriend about contraceptive folk-tales: "No,no, Coca-Cola doesn't work. My mom tried that, that's why I'm here!" She tells him to go away, so she can have some privacy with Jennifer, to discuss what she uses. Jennifer protests that she doesn't use contraception, leading Noelle to make a guess as to why:
"Of course! Oral sex!"

Having discovered the answer to their safe sex dilemma, she grabs her boyfriend: "Come On!!"

A very short scene, Noelle pushes and pulls each person to her attention, establishing in a just few gestures a no-nonsense type of character we'll see more of in her later work.
